Tauranga students took part in an interactive learning experience with Road Safety Education on Monday.

Tauranga students attended the second Rotary Youth Driver Awareness (RYDA) programme on Monday, organised by Road Safety Education.

Year 12 students were taken through a series of workshops involving road safety, as 16 and 17 year olds approach the age to drive.

Road Safety Education Programme Manager Maria Lovelock says it is important for the next generation of drivers to be aware of hazards on the road.
